Ballet Intensive International is an Associate programme offered by The National Ballet Conservatory. BII offers young dancers a working platform to enhance their ballet training with periodical intensives taught throughout the year. Our mission is to offer wonderful opportunities for young dancers to experience the highest levels of coaching from word-renowned dancers.

BII has hosted guest teachers from English National Ballet, The Royal Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Staatsballett Berlin, Birmingham Royal Ballet, The Royal Swedish Ballet & Stuttgart Ballet. Over the years BII has connected hundreds of aspiring dancers in Malta with professional dancers and ballet companies world-wide.

We offer Intensives throughout the year, while our most popular being our Summer Intensive. Dancers joining from overseas enjoy high quality training and afternoons of fun on the sunny island of Malta. The evenings are an opportunity to experience open-air cultural events and performances. English is Malta’s first language giving foreigners the added value to practice their English language skills in a world of dance and a perfect summer vacation.

BII welcomes dancers – boys and girls – of all levels and abilities from age 7+

Our aim is to nurture dancers in the classical art form, build confidence, performance skills and spark a life-long appreciation of the arts.

Intensives include, Classical Ballet, Repertoire, Pointe, Progressing Ballet Technique, Pas de deux, Contemporary, Ballet Mime, Performance Skills, Audition Techniques and Dance Appreciation.
