EARLY YEARS & PREPARATORY DIVISION
Age 2 – 6

Starting your dance journey with LBC
Our Early Years Division is designed as a playful introduction to dance and music. Classes begin at age 2 and are specifically designed for little movers and their carers. At age 3 they will attend lessons on their own, following a creative class structure aimed at enjoyment and developing confidence. By age 4 they will begin to follow the globally recognised Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus in Pre Primary and Primary. At age 5 and 6 they will be given the opportunity to enter in for examinations at the RAD headquarters in Battersea. Each child is given a certificate and a badge of honours to mark their achievement. Further more they will make friends and build an appreciation for the ballet and the Theatre.

LBC prides itself on offering inclusive, enjoyable dance training to all, however, at age 7 we have designed two pathways for pupils to choose from, catering for those wishing to pursue dance classes recreationally and those showing potential and interest in dance as a professional career.
